Where does the data come from?

Straight from Google Maps, through Google’s official Places service, at the moment you run the check.

Why compare reviews with competitors?

Google and AI assistants favour businesses that look established and trusted. Reviews are the clearest sign. One 2026 study of 10,000 local businesses found AI-recommended businesses averaged 133 Google reviews, against 11 for those AI ignored.

Can it see my business description?

No. Google doesn’t share the owner’s description through its public service, so we check the things it does share. Log in to your profile to check your description names what you do and where.

Is it really free?
