Can AI read your website?

Some websites accidentally block ChatGPT or Google, or never say what the business does and where. We check it the way search engines and AI assistants read it, in about 10 seconds.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute

Step 1Enter your website

Plus what you do and your area, so we can check the page says it.

Step 2We read it like AI does

Your robots.txt for 16 search and AI crawlers, then your home page: title, text, business code, phone, FAQs.

Step 3Fix the top items

Each problem comes with the fix in plain English, most important first.

Questions

New to all this? Our local SEO guide explains the basics.

What is robots.txt?

A small file on your website that tells search engines and AI which pages they may read. One wrong line can hide you from ChatGPT or Google without you knowing.

Should I block AI from training on my site?

That’s your choice. Bots like GPTBot and ClaudeBot only collect training data; blocking them doesn’t remove you from answers. The search bots (OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot, Bingbot) are the ones you need.

Do I need an llms.txt file or special AI code?

No. Google says no special files are needed for its AI features, and studies found no effect from llms.txt. Clear text, the right business code and an up-to-date Google profile matter far more.

Does it check every page?

It checks your home page and robots.txt, where most problems show up. Our paid plans check the pages for each service.
